The dalit and untouchables

Every time someone tells he has been discriminated, and if the person is a dalit it is a big news item. There are many different in which seeds of discrimination are planted in the minds of the young people and which only become stronger as a person grows. There should some amount of forgiveness in the hearts of these so called dalit people but many are breeding centers of revenge. The breaking of the hierarchy of caste cannot be easily broken just because one wears armani suit and rayban glasses.

This is because our political class and the power hungry people want people remember that are dalits and the party takes care of them. So these parties are voted to power, else why would Rahul Gandhi has to ever mention that Sam Pitroda is from a carpenter caste, BJP has to field Uma Bharati as an OBC candidate. The political parties are not foolish people, who spend crores of rupees just to lose. They know the sense of people and it may seem that people have voted a SP in hope of change rising above caste, it is not true. The identity of a person is the most important in a diverse country like India and the identity tag is their caste. What breaks bonds in the group of diverse people is the way in whcih some people donot certain things like eating food in common places in the name of religion or some other nonsense just keeps adding fuel to the fire of discrimination.

The average Indian has a sense of pride withregards to his caste and whynot. The so called liberal people wearing armani and rayban talk about untouchability while falling on the feet of their foreign counterparts to get some favours does augur well for the pride of the Indian community. Why should we wear a tuxedo in a country like india which is hot and then use AC and to keep ourselves cool, why use huge glass chambers as office spaces while simpler and efficient structures would suffice.

When we see we talk as if there is no discrimination here. The dress codes adopted in the MNC is in itself a discrimination against others and to create a sense of superiority like the kings and others not wearing the suits are sudras, and nobody has got problems. Let the dalits who call of being discriminated call upon their own brothers from their community of suits, rayban glasses to support them. They willnot. People of dalits hate to speak of their identity while of others are proud to speak of their community even after achieving this. To avoid this embarassement many on the hindu dalits are converted to Christianity and Islam thinking there is no caste discrimination.

Alas little did they know a converted christian/muslim is not  an equal to the pure muslim and the hindus have inherent anger against these people for getting converted. Even the people have not converted the anger is still there. The anger and sense of revenge is there in the deepest corners of the mind. There are progressive thinking people on both sides, and if the politicians keep making this caste a vote bank politics, the wounds would not heel. Only the passage of time and understanding only will help in bonding the people, not more and more policies based on caste highlight a person "I AM A DALIT, I GOT A FACILITY, FAVOUR FROM GOVERNMENT AND YOU DIDNOT BECAUSE U ARE NOT DALIT", which makes more and more people to become dalit, and may be one day there will be more dalit communities than they were 50years ago.
