Equating Walmart - McDonalds

Recently the FDI bill got its approval in the parliament by some behind the scheme activities. Now that the majority stake in the business will held by foreign nameplate companies and with some purchases from the local people, export the profits out of the company. As one of my employers usually said, no businessman would continue if he gets less than 15percent margins. Otherwise he would simply put his money in the bank and live on the interests. May be he is partially correct, but there are also others who want to keep the money working instead ofidealling in the bank accounts. Whatever may be the case, a business transaction is carried with the profits in mind. All the business will be carried by the foreign companies and take maximum profits out of our country indirectly affecting our foreign exchange.

Pre-reforms announces the rupee was sliding, after the reforms were announced(increasing the fuel prices, and other things two months back) rupee started to climb and people hailed the PM for being a great reformist and said other good things about our Sonia Gandhi and Rahul's agenda with reforms. But what is the state of rupee after 4months as on date. The dollar is still at Rs.54 and we are further inviting the FDI into our country which nothing but paper currency. The agenda of the government is not for improving the states of the poor but to make commission from agents of Walmart etc for fighting the next elections.

McDonalds cannot make our Punjabi Dhaba style aloo ka paratha but the Walmart can sell the colgate toothpaste and other stuff. These two cannot be compared. The fod supplied by McDonald may be tasty and good at the time of eating, but about the very long term health issues associated. People have been divided over the places where they go just like the British have divided the Indians into english speaking and non english speaking. The reform agents are the looters in guise. Mr.Obama himself one day went to the local shops and asked his people to shop in local stores to keep the local economy alive. Our liberal reformists cannot see or hear this because it goes against their agends.

With more foreign dependent nation, like India is becoming a recession in Us or EU will cripple our economy and we have to be at the mercy of all other nations. A country working to be a Superpower should be selfsuffient in all its basic needs first. This means we have develop the required infracture for the progress of the nation, and we give this work to the companies like Walmart and give them further subsidies. This is making a hole at the bottom of the vessel and giving it to the country to fill it with their money for the sake of nation. the leakage at the bottom will be happily consumed not by the poor but the ever hungry Politicians.

The end products of McDonalds have not attracted many Indians and hence the hotels are still in business, while the end products of the Walmart is a standard product. The people who compare these two if they are MPs then are unfit to enter the parliament.
