MODI vs USA

The best war monger of the world, the many of the developed nations of the west, have put a ban on dealing with Gujarat in general, Modi in particular. The ban imposition is due to the alleged human rights violations during the post Godhra incidents of 2002. This act by the West is nothing but hypocrisy. On the surface it may seem to be what is read is the truth, but there can be other issues. Very recently the EU has lifted the ban on Modi, and many officials have met Modi in persons and resolved the issues.

One thing to be noted is that neither Modi directly requested the EU officials to meet him, but bridging the relations with the Gujarat strong man is for their own survival. The British PM coming to Jalianwallabagh and paying homage is again a political gimmick to get the Punjabi votes in the elections that are to come in England. The growth story of Gujarat may not be the best in the world, but what is important is to sustain the developmental activities under the magnifying lens of the ever faultfinding media. This is the single point attribute of never being at fault in governance which makes him a natural leader.

If media has succeeded in demonizing Modi with the help of NGOs, the same media failed to show any faults in the governance armory of Modi. With the SIT giving clean chit to Modi and many followers working to dispel the fault notions about the post-Godhra incidents helped many more to appreciate Modi. With each succeeding year, the lies peddled have fallen flat and Modi popularity has only soared, thanks to negative publicity by the Media. A politician has remained in public thinking domain, either positively or negatively. But to remain in negative mode the proofs required should be stronger, emotional. With fake proofs media has undone itself.

Many nations big and small around the world have decided its best to engage a possible PM of the future early than to wait for the final moment. But the big brother of the world is still adamant in his stand. Modi has told, that he will never ask for US Visa, but will make US come to him with visa, that statement should itself tell about the resolve of the man.  USA is one of the powerful nations militarily and to keep itself above others, USA meddles with the internal affairs of various countries to keep its stock up destroying many countries with war and false promises. Those who have seen Modi and followed his words they are sure that in the end it is USA which has to send a invitation to Modi and not the other way round, unless there is backdoor manipulations and a consensus between the two head strong groups.

Many US companies are setting shop in Gujarat, and there in increasing support for Modi in the USA. Many congressional leaders are speaking for Mod an asking the lifting of ban on Modi. But USA has to keep its interests in the Asia and for this it needs the help of India, this is a fact which both the parties know. Countries like EU will not make a beeline without their strong intelligence reports that may be confirming good chance for Modi to become the PM in 2014. The requirement of Pakistan is what is holding up the USA in bridging the gaps with Modi. Pakistani see Modi as the murderer of Muslims in the 2002 riots, and though more Muslims have died in terrorist attacks, American attacks, the dumb headed people of Pak with a lust for power have blinded themselves.

Even though many Pakistanis hate America to the core, an American support to Modi will only increase the hate which the USA might not want in the short term. USA desperately needs the help of India in sorting the Afghanistan to keep the tabs on China. This USA-Pak-India triangle is a grid lock and Afghanistan will be a country that is the loser in the end due to the political ambitions of USA to gain more footprints in Asia and to counter China. With more Pak involvement, then automatically China will gain entry which the USA does not like. With USA likely to make a exit from Afghanistan in mid 2013, the actual may be offset by a few more months. The USA exit will happen by the end of 2013 and by then it should get the help of India for the developmental works and also to take the blows that may arise due to the backlash of Islamic fundamentalist terrorists.

The engagement with Afghanistan may be good for India in the long term, but in the short term it will be huge disaster. The involvement of India with Afghanistan should be outside the control of USA, if India has to gain any benefit out of the deal. If USA makes pact with Mod before exit, then Ind0-US discussions will have a Modi effect, and Modi supposedly a strong leader will not easily succumb to pressure just like the congress does. Thus for the twin reasons of not having the involvement of Modi in negotiations of Afghanistan and to avoid a Pakistani backlash the USA does not engage with Modi.

The recent WIFE conference of 2013 is any indication of the support for Modi should have given a hint of things to come by if USA remains head strong and unreasonable. Thus even though USA wants to make bridges, it will not till its exists Afghanistan. Thus in all likelihood it is the USA which will blink first, and there is no shame in that, because always honesty and truthfulness wins.
