Due to rapid urbanization, the requirement of land and other resources like metals has resulted in the reduction in forest cover on the face of our planet. The habitats of various animals, birds those living in land and also aquatic life forms have come under tremendous threat. We have seen some crocodiles entering human habitats in USA and other places, while we repeatedly hear about leopards taking away babies in Indian villages, sugarcane fields being damaged by elephants. We call this man animal conflict and usually in the end man wins the battle, because the animals are finding increasingly difficult to defend themselves against the barbarous mankind.

There is evidence of acts like adultery, rape, homosexuality etc in the animal world. Having the scientific community convince many of the modern citizens of this world, we believe that we have evolved from monkey and there will be bound the same acts that animals perform. Thus there can be a justification also provided by some social scientists, but hopefully not many exist and not much literature is available in this regard. The craving for a mate is one of the basic needs after the need food, water and shelter, and it is believed that sexual pleasure is very difficult to control, but not impossible.

We have been listening about rumors of love jihad, but no one has even ever given statistics about the same. Numbers are considered divine truths which can be easily understood, manipulated and used for propaganda for better or evil intentions. When terrorists are not getting successful in breaking down the society by using bomb blasts, whether is there a possibility of achieving the same through the gruesome act of raping women of all ages? Whether the rapes that are occurring in the recent times have any religious, social, political color to it? What are the criminal’s intentions for committing a rape is never analyzed by psychologists?

The various government departments are more concerned with the farmer suicides, and giving loan waivers and doing all sorts for patchworks and cosmetic treatments. Instead of solving the root causes, which is generally not done anywhere in the world, and India is no exception. The government should have done a rape criminal profiling – his place of origin, place of crime, purpose of change of living, economic situation, religion, caste, employment status, whether under the effect of alcohol or other substances, mental balance, addiction to porn, etc. The police and others never dwell on several of the data required.

Even in the most advanced and developed nations with high-tech policing rape cases have never on decline. With most cruel laws prevailing in the lands of Saudis, rapes are reported, and victim found at fault and there are other issues with the law of the land. No amount of punishment will deter the criminals because when the need to perform an act like a murder, rape, etc overpowers all other fears and only then it is possible to do it. The person has no sense of any social conduct or civility when he performs an act. Most of the times ordinary citizens are doing these acts and thus these crimes are very difficult to prevent. Every man/woman for himself is the norm today in our society.

What after the completion of the crime is more important to the victim because victim is at loss? Sometimes a lifetime is spent to cure the wounds of mind and body and the criminal is let off after 7-14 years and in rarest of rare cases which our dishonorable judges when decide will lead to death punishment. Many times the crimes are not recorded, reported and get buried in the courts which give very fast justice in our country. 3crore cases are pending and more will get accumulated, and lawyers and judges will see a good employment opportunities.

In our country where convicted terrorists are given sympathy, what do the wannanbe rapists care about? But individual rapes, we have witnessed gang rapes, now we have advanced ourselves to injuring the victims with object insertions. The eminent media and other personalities including the president asks the society for introspection. This is not the case usually, when a muslim/Hindu does a terrorist activity, the people are quick to jump that we cannot brand it Islamic or saffron terrorist. There will be sermons that the community should not be blamed for the acts of a few individuals and bad apples will be there in all groups, then why this distinction in the event of rape and the whole society is blamed for the act of a few persons.

The shit of collective responsibility is propagated from our government, and thus everyone is following the same. Thus when we say everyone is responsible, it clearly means no one is responsible and the people in charge can do little to avoid the problems. People being eternal optimists fall for the words and the eminent people lecture people into believing that something is wrong with the society and blame one community or the other group for the evils. The rights groups talk mainly for the criminals and less for the victims. The victim has to struggle to get justice while the criminals talk about harassment in the jails, demand newspapers, tv, ac, biscuits in the prison and the sates willingly provide.

The Legend Ajmal was given biryani in our jails, where there is severe mal nutrition in our country and the common man is made to live with Rs.26 in rural areas, then why criminals given more facilities is a million dollar question. The rehabilitation of the victim is never taken seriously because it will take years to prove the truth in our courts and by them the criminal becomes plump with good food in the jails, and victim becomes poor paying the lawyer fees. With such a good justice system and the honesty of judges in serious question, the citizens are left with only hope and god. Little do they know, that temples are actually hijacked by the governments for the surplus money in the coffers and bribes paid by the citizens to get their works done.

Politicians want the bribe money paid to god for themselves and their family members. Even the common citizens, including myself want to escape the rule of law to avoid police harassment. Some will pay the penalty while others just walk away because the victim is not powerful enough to put a good defense. The police is thus a highly misused department by the common people and also the politicians. Everyone wants favors from the police and when the police tried of giving favors donot work they are still blamed. The behavior of police which could have been better has deteriorated because there can be solid action taken on them, because their seniors are more dependent on the lower rung officers. It is a supply chain of opportunities, money, and fame. Thus none wants to act against the other, and when  action arises a reaction too arises even faster, and there will be transfers causing more trouble to the honest officers.

All of know about the officer called Khekma and there are many others like him who did not get into the limelight. Honest people still exist amongst us and blaming the society is a easy way to escape out for those who cannot provide good results in terms of safety. But a man putting objects into the body of a five year old is a new reason for outburst, what about the beheading of our soldiers, and also honor killings? When Capt.Kalia was given even more heinous treatment by our neighbors and his father is fighting in national and international courts there is no cry from the citizens and candle light brigades and other secular and non secular parties and even the citizens.

Our country was long a golden brid but now a bird of mud infested with all kinds of fungus, worms. The rotting of our country is due to invasions and corruption of the ideals due to various groups. The migration of people is another big factor for the increase in crimes in a country like ours. The reasons for crimes like rape in USA may not be valid in a country like India, but our liberals donot want to believe and won’t work to find the true reasons.  But good people exist in all societies, communities and thus our country exists even today, though at the brink of self destruction.

The hope of man is still not lost, else there would more crimes in our nation and the media should stop publicizing the crimes selectiviely at their convenience. A feeling of guilt sets in the minds of the ordinary citizens and a sense of fear creeps in. Has anyone ever done study to find out why after aamir khan’s show of Satyameva Jayathe the crime reporting on our national televisions increased?  Few could no the work of doing the analysis, including me, but we donot, because little we care for others.

Rape exists every where in many forms, but the more important question what differentiates Man from Animal. 

BJP on Disaster Mode

Of all the allies that BJP has now, SAD seems to be the only credible and faithful one. The relationship between SAD and BJP could have become bitter after SC upheld the death sentence to Bhullar and BJP welcomed the decision. The SAD is not happy with the judgment and is working in the power corridors to make the sentence to life term. The powers that have worked for this judgment want a breakdown of the relation between SAD and BJP but due to some higher interference, may be god, the alliance is still intact.

If we move eastwards to Bihar, the JDU has been pushing salt down the BJP’s throat by continuously insulting their CM in Gujarat. Nitish Kumar may have PM ambitions, but just like all others' claims, he is a simple, highly secular man and doesn’t have any ambitions beyond his current position, look truely hippocratical.. He talks of secular credentials after 17years of alliance, and after having good interactions in the past with Modi. With time, ambitions grow and with competition back stabbing is the only way forward for those who cannot work harder.

The backstabbing nature is very common in the political scenario, but the case of Nitish is very extreme and highly calculative. On one side he is trying to placate and appease the Muslims of the whole country by going against the mythical muslim destroyer, Modi, and on the other hand the Congress is liking his attitude and trying to please him. The power hungry Congress can dump the Lalus, Paswans etc for getting Nitish in their secular group and stay in power. In the end Nitish will be the winner if no timely decisions are taken.

If secularism means appeasing Hindu community or for the matter of fact any other community, at the cost of others, even then BJP is not a secular party. Thus BJP can never become a secular party and majority of Muslims will never vote for the BJP  in elections. But definitely some Muslims have faith in the BJP in the current state and few are working with the Gujarat government to bring prosperity to themselves, while many Muslims have become pawns in the hands of the hate filled NGOs and other politicians.

BJP should use the services of the Muslims who have benefited to propagate the truth and try to benefit from the results achieved through good governance. No amount of appeasement will ever help in the long run. BJP can easily win over few pockets of good Samaritans among the minority communities by proper communications, but for a huge change to take place a huge amount of time is required. BJP has been used like a tissue paper by some political parties, and now the BJP leadership has no courage to take bold decisions.

The fear in the minds of the BJP leaders was evident during the Presidential election campaign, where the candidate was not announced just to appease the allies, while the allies have openly supported the candidate of their choice. The foolishness and false belief that consensus is achieved after discussions is a dream from which BJP has to wakeup before the 2014 elections. BJP should first declare its candidate, and then work for consensus and this is the only way of a powerful leader, who has a vision.

If a leader has no vision, he will wait for consensus for ever and there will be no decisions. The leadership of the BJP is often dwarfed by two factors, one RSS and other LK Advani, who does not lose hope of being a PM. The recent support of many members of NDA in support of Advani can be behind the scene workings of some mischievous and jealous elements in the BJP to keep Modi from becoming the face of the party in 2014 elections. In the best interests of BJP, Advaniji should talk about his not becoming the PM and should give way for younger leaders than himself, which only can give some respect for the Grand Oldman of BJP.

The PM in waiting of BJP doesnot seems lose hope which is very bad and also sad. If JDU has been talking about secularity, another ally of BJP, ShivSena has also started pressurizing the BJP for declaration of PM candidate and it wants consensus. The same SS did not walk the way of BJP when voting for Prathiba Patil and during other times, but BJP obliges with all these useless baggage it carries as part of NDA. SS is more opportunistic and is more dependent on BJP and there cannot be survival and value to the SS without BJP because of its numbers.

The alignment of SS which is considered currently as more communal than BJP and very few parties can make a alliance with it. But inspite of all these, SS throws more weight than its share, but out of respect for the Senior Thackery, BJP would have kept quite. Times have changed and so should SS realize the present scenario. BJP must not heed to the foolish bluffs and demands of ShivSena and decide independently and then tell their decision to SS and ask them to decide their course of action.

If the regional parties think that BJP is not strong in its decision making and gives veto powers to non visionary and petty politicians, political parties, the BJP is going to lose its tag – Party with Difference. With Modi’s popularity on the rise, the BJP should capitalize on it and the added advantage is the vigour which Modi can instill in the cadre is even more infectious. The like of Shivraj of MP, Raman Singh of Chattisgrah can sulk if they want, and can have a different opinion. But the sounds and chatter made by the grassroot party workers to the top business people will make one to presume that Modi is far ahead of all his counterparts and even Advani.

People should talk about the retirement of Advani like they are talking about the retirement of Tendulkar and force Advani to retire in the best interests of BJP. Only then there can be a step forward for the BJP, other people like Nitish, Shivraj Chauvan, Sushma, Yashwant, etc will keep on creating more confusion within and outside the party and puncture the energy buildup from time to time, just like the media punctured the Anna campaign.

A single strong leader with vision can lead the nation, and if BJP members cannot see beyond themselves and rise above their petty politics and infighting, BJP is in a disaster Mode and is bound to fail for a very long times. Congress desperately has to win this time to bury its deeds, as the information is spreading very fast, far and wide. BJP with good performance in various states can give a good alternative at the center, and the first person to talk about development and vision for the nation is Modi in the current set of leaders. Thus it becomes Modi’s right to be the PM candidate in the elections that follow now.

A good social media campaign and increasing supporters has made many other politicians to join and increase their followers and also reduce the communication gap. Aspiring to be a PM by a successful CM is not wrong, but to not recognize the efforts of colleague aspiring and working to achieve higher goals is a crime. Whether the successful CMs of BJP will commit a crime or support the rise of Modi is the most watched political scenario with elections to different states to come before the 2014 elections.

If BJP cannot come to power in 2014 with all the failures of Congress out in public, and its misdeeds in every sphere of governance, then BJP can never, because Congress will buy or destroy all those who defy their aristocracy and the demographics will change by another 10years and India will become even more secular than it is today.

Escape from Cricket, Politics and “jumping….gili gili

Of all the sports, games that are played in India, the members of BCCI Cricket team are the richest of all. The reason is due to the non involvement of the government officials during the developing stages of the private company called BCCI. But when the politicians have seen the huge money involved, this company has seen much political and non political interference to obtain posts and also obtaining chances to their players in the teams. But the basic criteria have always been prevailed to some extent in the player selection.

Even though there are no quota systems in this governmental paid job, the players have come many varied backgrounds, and hopefully based on merit. Though this is highly debatable, there is some truth in this, otherwise Mary Kom would not have won the Olympic medal. But what after achieving the medals is the real story of the sports in India. The Indians have been made to get addicted to one game called Cricket with varied forms giving different kinds of entertainment to different set of people - orthodox, liberal and central groups. The overload of entertainment has ensured that no other sport gets the required attention unless big money is involved.

Serious campaigns are made to get some kind of popularity to other games and sports, and the F1 racing, European foot ball have been catching more eyeballs in the recent times. The reason behind is not the affection but to get into the upper social echelons where the largely English speaking people interact and talk about all English things. Football is the most watched game in the world, and even though Cricket is the game bought by English to the common wealth countries, foot ball has outgrown the sport in its birthplace, England.

The recent invention of IPL has even bought the world cinema into the ambit of cricket. Thus current IPL has all the ingredients for best entertainment for the consumption of the viewers - politics, bollywood and cricket. The cheer girls who dance to tunes best known to them and crowd jumping and making bizarre moves continuously to get a chance to show their relatives they are in stadium and have come on national TVs. Bollywood involvement in the cricket is very obvious from the tunes, the pathetic “jumping….gili gili” and every man desperate for some money is shaking his body to the tune.

The involvement of politics at the highest levels was obvious because many of the top posts of state level bodies of cricket are being occupied by politicians, at least the richest boards. The politics does not end there, the selection of the players and the dramas on the field are all guided by the politics. The slapgates, abuses, sledging etc are all the projections from the parliament to the cricket field. People have been laughing at the dramas in the parliament and now are also enjoying the same in the cricket field.  Removal of Srilankan players while playing in Chennai, non entertainment of Pakistani cricket players in the IPL, cricket diplomacy etc are all part of political interferences in the game.

From the movie Invictus, even Nelson Mandela has done some rugby diplomacy to integrate his country. If diplomacy is one thing, the betting is the underside of the diplomacy. The huge amounts of money that are involved in betting is a big revenue earner for the governments in certain developed nations. In our land of poor people, middle class people bet on matches in thousands and still enjoy the games those who have the money to afford, while others survive on a mere Rs.32/day. Players spit precious water; clean themselves with mineral water while some part of the country is suffering from severe drought.

While great sages have told, poverty cannot exist without richness and vice versa, those suffering in India have come to belief excessively in the law of karma and also in their destiny and fate. Getting bored with all the billions earned, the rich then talk about social responsibility, funding the education of some few hundred children support for fellow countrymen who join other sports are all part of the popular cricketing culture. This monolithic addictive behavior of Indians in the area of sports if in sync with their lack of taste and lower levels of innovation, because IPL is a reengineering of football for the Indian population and many slam bang cricket forms existed earlier. ICL is the mother of IPL and Kapil was kicked out of BCCI fold and both have joined back for some grace in front of the public eyes. Now Kapil too is doing “jumping….gili gili”.

Just like majority of Indians cannot think beyond cricket, the common people cannot see beyond Congress party to lead them. Like cheer girls doing some entertainment we get some acts every now and then. The more people try to get away from cricket stronger temptations are bought to maintain the supporter base and there is no escape, because to escape addiction bigger addiction is required. The bigger addiction, some call it higher goal or purpose in life, hobby or any other thing except addiction. A society which supports only culture/game/party is bound for a disaster in the long run because homogeneity is not the order of the nature.

The minimum support for many of the other games is still not sufficient to sustain and the administration is also at fault to not creating a winning team. As Mandela hopes that a win in a rugby world cup will boost the hopes of people, bring people with different back grounds together, similarly different sports bring different kinds of people together thus a greater chance of integration. How much can the game of cricket integrate this nation for how long is a matter of suspicion, but sooner other sports and games start winning and show good results, there is no escape from the “jumping….gili gili”.

Human Senses

Humans understand and gain knowledge about the outside world through the 5senses-sight, hearing, smell, touch, taste. Most of all Humans rely on the sense of sight the most compared to others.

Presence of visible light is necessary for the working of sense of sight. Light can even travel in vacuum and it is the fastest moving next to thought. Human brain works on chemical and electrical processing and the speeds of signals are quite high compared to other speeds we come across in outside world.  More amount of interaction is possible through the sense of sight due to higher speeds and thus more reliability on it and which has given birth to the statement “SEEING IS BELIEVING”.

Sound waves are pressure waves, where the molecules of the medium vibrate and are pressure wave propagates across the medium. When this pressure wave reaches the ear, the membranes of ear drum vibrate generating electrical currents and are decoded by the human brain. Medium is a must for the sound to travel and it can be solid, liquid, gas and sound cannot travel in vacuum. We can say to have a peace of mind, “BETTER TO ARGUE IN VACCUM”.

Every object has odor, which is nothing but the molecules of the object carried by the gas. The molecules of the object has to be in a certain minimum concentration so that the when the air we inhale if it contains the particular molecules, the particular odor is noticed.  The dispersion of molecules has a great effect and thus it is very natural to get a better knowledge of good smell we inhale more and “WHEN IT SMELLS LIKE SHIT WE STOP BREATHING WITH NOSE AND OPEN MOUTHS”.

Skin is the part of body which given the sense of touch. A wide range of sensors are present inside the skin in multiple layers. Skin has to present in contact with the environment about which information is to be perceived and the requirement of kind of medium is highly debatable.  Not only does skin works as touch sensor but also works to detect variations in temperatures. Now very little info is gained by skin but has become we are and “IS HIGHLY WORKED UPON BY CHEMICALS AND TREATMENT FOR AESTHETICS”.

Tongue with taste buds present on it detects the presence of certain molecules tell the kind of taste and also work like skin in certain cases. But of all the senses it is believed by the sages that tongue is most difficult to control. They were right in meaning that the hunger of taste is difficult to control and more difficult is the need to talk. What exactly the sages meant is never known but tongue can make and break this world. Like skin the tongue has to be in contact with the object and requires a medium in contact. “TONGUE IS THE WATCHMAN” and rarely takes bribes.

Even though each of the 5senses is important, very much prominence is being given to sight because of the ease of manipulation that can be achieved. All the persons may not have equal capacities in the perception through individual senses but sum total of all capacities with in the brain which is the main organ for sensing is present. The inner exploration reveals the capacities and this is what everyone has forgotten. A race has started long ago to satisfy the senses and to satisfy senses means to satisfy the mind.

Mind is infinite reservoir of knowledge and we are unlocking it using the 5senses. If the 5senses can be used to study the mind itself we achieve a trance like state called “SAMADHI”. The sixth also known as common sense is becoming more uncommon in the current days due to the side effects of the excessive over indulgence.
